Well there’s a slight chance of rain A slight chance that the hills will take away all this pain I’m on a unicycle in the Tour de France There’s a chance that all these judges can’t be bought And all the judges happen to be All the elements of nature that we can’t see Oh the sun goes down like the moon goes up There’s a chance that I may not know when enough is enough There goes a door I shut with a girl I lost That I don’t regret with exception of the cost I’m on a unicycle in the tour de France Painting pictures with my eyes completely shut Where we hang our coats can’t we hang our fears? Let our dreams catch a cold in the pouring rain All the stars are falling like a masterpiece Of a symphony that plays on a busy highway You let the forest burn they let your oceans part They’re gonna’ take your leader away on the ides of March There goes a door I shut with a girl I lost That I don’t regret with exception of the cost I’m on a unicycle in the Tour de France Painting pictures with my eyes completely shut

There's a melon in the field I will steal with my eyes To keep the bellies of the voices in my head all satisfied The mandolin is playing and there's an echo slowly saying "There's a message from the optic nerve, the symptom's to be paying, For the cold that I'm to have, with Arthritis coming early, And the stomach aches to come ruin the fun of all the wordy Doctor talk that I will miss, when I'm deaf and start to hiss, At the darkness and the darker coming dusk with a new lisp..." (And I can't say my S's without sounding like a snake)

JackKnife 05:16
My sign says the end is nigh Because when you forsake your heroes they forsake you (they forsake you) My fists have got the answers to questions you have Concerning mercy maybe lurking behind my ink blot mask (my ink blot mask) Satisfaction comes from knowing that criminals died maybe then I will sleep tonight (I will sleep tonight) Don’t jackknife the possibility (the possibility) That Rorschach was right Don’t blame me If we are unable to set things right For you and me And all of the world The world is going to end one way or another (your way or mine) The clock is still ticking We’re running out of time Midnight is getting closer Doomsday is ticking closer Two riders were approaching, only one would return And never to a place called home again A pirate ship on the horizon got to weather the storm A storm of our own makin’ He once was a crusader went off to fight a war Watching over a world gone wrong Relives his old days of glory wondering where they’ve gone And then there’s a knock at the door Don’t jackknife the possibility (the possibility) That Rorschach was right Don’t blame me If we are unable to set things right For you and me And all of the world The world is going to end one way or another (your way or mine) The clock is still ticking We’re running out of time Midnight is getting closer Doomsday is ticking closer

Steel Crazy 03:52
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 I’m walkin’ while I’m thinkin’ And my mind is set on you We always have the best of times When the sun is sinkin’ But now the sky is blue I remember last night when we stayed up late just talkin’ We both had other plans and nothing ever happened I’ve got a cold cup of coffee As I’m headed out the door And I’ve got myself a headache Left over from the night before And I’m steel crazy Steel crazy over you And still there’s just one thought In all of this confusion I can’t help but think about you I thought it funny How you’d never seen the ocean From the view above the dunes And I’m just still not sure where all this is goin’ But I woke up with you in my mind this mornin’ And so I don’t know where we’re goin’ But there’s plenty to explore And I feel like time is wastin’ I just wish that we had more And I’m steel crazy Steel crazy over you I’m still crazy Still crazy over you

Nietzsche was a philosopher who said that God had died People told him he was nuts and it was just his foolish pride I had to write a paper on his views on morality But all that I could really tell is that he had two legs and knees And a head of hair and eyes like beads and a beard that tangled up like weeds and a garden of flowers and birds and bees, but he didn’t like gardens he preferred to think about his... morals. yeah... Read about him once in a magazine and all his major claims Read about him once in a magazine but I couldn’t even say his name Gotta write a paper on Nietzsche And I don’t know what to say Gotta write a paper on Nietzsche Should have started yesterday Gotta write a paper on Nietzsche And I don’t know what to do Gotta write a paper on Nietzsche And I’m not even halfway through I had to read a book and write a paper that’s three pages long But I didn’t want to read or plead for an extension so instead I just wrote this song

Robbed of my royal blood before I could claim the throne I could claim the throne From the darkest of the depths I was washed upon the shore Of a life without the armor that once made me whole Once made me whole Now the daemons are walking the Earth like it's the place to be What a mess I've made of the spirits that made me trust In my pride far too much Oh far too much Silvertongue, save your breath The night is quick like the hands of an old, seasoned thief Of a seasoned thief Robbed of my royal blood before I could claim the throne I could claim the throne

You’d better set your sails high boys You’d better hope that the wind is strong Pray to the moon for a shifting tide Or else you won’t be sailing long The fleet’ll be here in the morning The greatest ships of the Admiralty Sent here on the highest orders To protect the Trade Company But the tides have turned against us As the Royal Fleet draws near So draw swords and load your muskets We’ll make our final stand right here I guess this battle’s the first of many Better get used to the life at sea Cause I know I’ll keep on running As long as they’ll keep on chasing me

Robin Hood 03:08
Where sat the fire expired the killers Hired then to finish the job "Not a moment to spare! Not a moment to spare!" Cried the flames that touched the musket There is no epidemic here, no epidemic here Just a law to keep the richest alive A rain of bullets from the sky went toe-to-toe With arrows straight from the woods And then would fall a snow that would grow and Surely know that these wars come like the sun The lesson's depression became the mention That the thieves passed on Of the fires they would train and Stamp out in the early dawn If there's a war at our front door, what makes The castle any harder to storm?

Have you seen your new gods lately? They’re just as strong as the older ones More than ten million sacraments daily And their reign has just begun and it’s for them we learn to run it’s for them our work is never done it’s for them no body’s ever won it’s for them it’s for them Here we Americans brought gods from homelands Don’t think they’ve forgotten you They’ve grown older and we’ve replaced them Won’t they feel a little used? it’s for them these seeds are sown it’s for them this is all I’ve ever known it’s for them we’re not alone it’s for them it’s for them Have you seen your new gods lately? They’re just as strong as the older ones More than ten million sacraments daily And their reign has just begun
